Paper Dancing Elf

This cute cut and paste Elf Craft is a great activity for preschoolers and elementary grades to make and play with for the Christmas holiday.

These paper elves have concertina folded legs that move when you wiggle the backing paper so it looks like they're dancing!

You can make this Christmas elf craft with painted newspaper, coloured paper or by colouring in the template. 

In the photographs you'll see we added wiggle eyes, pompoms and a bell but the template comes with paper eyes and trimmings you can use instead if you prefer.

(Please note: For classroom use page 1 and 2 of the template have printed repeats in the spare spaces to make it more economical to print this resource for multiple children. If you're making only one elf craft then you can just ignore the repeats.)
